THERAPEUTIC EXERCISE

Exercise plays a significant role in patient rehabilitation.

By including exercise in a rehabilitation program, a physiotherapist can maintain benefits achieved from passive treatment, prevent future injuries,
improve muscle/tendon function and take advantage of the neurophysiological procedures of the body.

Proper exercise intervention is always individualized, structured on patient needsand it requires the full cooperation of the patient in order to be effective.
